But the Supreme Court assured the doctors that no action would be taken against them. The court said that judges and people associated with the medical profession can never go on strike. You come next time, tell me everyone has returned to duty. We will ensure that no action is taken against them. In this case, Kapil Sibal argued on behalf of the Kolkata government, while Additional Solicitor General Tushar Mehta argued on behalf of the central government.

What West Bengali physicians said was ?

Meanwhile, a statement from Dr Kaushik Lahiri of West Bengal Doctors Forum has also come. He said, complaints were constantly being received against RG Kar Medical College and the Principal. Doctors in Kolkata do not consider Sandeep Ghosh a doctor. He has always been accused of extortion and atrocities on doctors. Even after being transferred, the Principal used to lock the room and leave so that no other principal could join. Using his influence, he used to return to the same hospital within 2 days. Sandeep Ghosh was running a nexus, in which outsiders are also involved and easily interfere in the work of the hospital. The administration is trying to save the doctors who were removed yesterday.
